Introduction

Membership of PDAA provides access to trout fishing on some beats of the River Tay, Kinkell Fishings on the River Earn,  and the excellent White Loch and Fingask Loch courtesy of Blairgowrie & Rattray District Angling Club.  

River Tay Protection Order - Brown Trout and Grayling fishing for members and non-members

Trout: 15 Mar – 6 Oct, Grayling fishing is available all year round:

PDAA members and members of the general public have access to fishing for brown trout and grayling under the Tay Protection Order (see http://www.tayfishing.co.uk) on the following beats on the River Tay

Logierait (left bank)
Cargill (left bank)
Stobhall Castle (left bank)
Stobhall to Catholes (left bank)
Lower Redgorton (right bank)

If you want to fish on that beat there is a link to a SuperSaas (online) booking page in the beat information document. Click on the day slot you require (within 7 days) and you will receive an email permit by return. More details are on the individual pages and on the Online Booking page.

Permits are free to members - non-members pay £6/permit (on a sliding scale depending on number of permits booked - see booking page)

Ledyatt Trout Fishery

New for 2024

PDAA has negotiated preferential rates on this excellent fishery. On production of a valid PDAA Membership, Ledyatt will apply a £5.00 discount per ticket - essentially offering PDAA members the opportunity to fly-fish Ledyatt at Ledyatt members prices.

This arrangement will be for a trial period of 12 months.
