River Trout Fishing Locations
Season - Trout: 15 Mar – 6 Oct, Grayling fishing is available from 16 June in one year until 14 March the following year.
PDAA has trout and Grayling fishing on the Rivers Tay, Ericht and Earn and also trout fishing on Fingask Loch and White Loch near Blairgowrie.
River Tay Trout and Grayling fishing permits are issued by PDAA but the beats are administered by the Tay Liaison Committee who look after the Tay Protection Order. For more information on these go to Tay Protection Order. Importantly, all of the River Tay beats are available for PDAA members AND members of the public. Fishing is free for members and £8 for non-members.
The River Ericht Trout and Grayling fishing available from PDAA is the Blairgowrie and Rattray District Angling Association waters as is the fishing on White Loch and Fingask loch. The River Ericht Fishing is booked on the PDAA site and is available free for members only. The two fisheries are booked directly via the BRDAA Site for members who will pay the going rate.
The River Earn trout fishing is on the Kinkell Bridge beat and is free for members only.
