For Tay Protection order beats (Logierait, Cargill, Stobhall Castle, Catholes, Burnmouth and Lower Redgorton), Kinkell Bridge and the Ericht, all bookings are online, and can be booked by members and the general public. Clicking on the appropriate photograph below will take you to the SuperSaaS booking system, log in and book your rod. New members should click on “Create new Account “ and then follow instructions.
When at the beat booking page, click on the day slot you require and you will receive an email permit by return.
Permits are free to members - non-members pay £8/permit (on a sliding scale depending on number of permits booked - see booking page)

Kinkell bridge
Kinkell fishings offers excellent brown trout fishing over a two mile stretch of the River Earn. For 2025, PDAA has negotiated permits for two rods every Saturday and Monday from the 29th April until 30th September. Permits are for members only and are free to members.

river ericht
Brown trout and grayling thrive in the Ericht’s pure waters. Some stocking by the BRDAA takes place, adding to the stock of wild brownies. The average weight is three quarters to one pound.
The occasional larger fish to three pounds can be taken. Fly rods from 7’6” – 9’6” are best with line weights 5 – 7, depending on conditions. A floater with sink tip or intermediate will cover most conditions.
